Trekking Georgia is a company founded by local professional guides, with over 15 years of experience in adventure tourism.
Our team has successfully developed several projects:
Climbing Georgia – the oldest company in our group, operating since 2012. It specializes in extreme adventure tours, including mountaineering, rock climbing, trekking, ski touring, cat-skiing, heli-skiing, ski mountaineering, and other adventure experiences across Georgia, the Caucasus region, Armenia, and Turkey.
Catskiing Georgia – a leading winter adventure company offering unforgettable tours in Bakhmaro. The company has its own infrastructure, including cozy cottages and snow cats.
Cafe-Restaurant “Mkinvartsveri” – located at Mount Kazbek’s base camp, has been welcoming tourists since 2019, providing a warm and comfortable space for climbers preparing for Mount Kazbek ascents.
In 2023, our team launched the Alpine Hut “Deka”, a unique project located at 3,020 meters near Mount Kazbek’s base. Deka offers guests comfortable accommodations, a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, a sauna, and rental equipment necessary for climbing Mount Kazbek.
After many years of work and hosting over 10,000 guests, we decided to create a dedicated project focused on trekking and hiking.
Trekking Georgia now offers unique trekking tours across Georgia, carefully designed to meet guests’ needs and preferences. Thanks to our extensive experience, we understand exactly what our guests require and strive to deliver personalized service. By working directly with our guests, without intermediaries, we ensure clear communication and a fully tailored adventure experience.
Who We Are
We’re a team of local guides, outdoor enthusiasts, and storytellers who call Georgia’s highlands home. Many of us grew up in mountain villages like Mestia, Omalo, and Kazbegi, where trails are part of daily life and hospitality is a way of being. We’ve spent years exploring every ridge, valley, and hidden lake—from the snowfields beneath Mt. Kazbek to the remote pastures of Khevsureti—and we’re passionate about showing you the Georgia few travelers ever see.
